Summer Holiday Football Camps in full swing

As Blades fans eagerly await the first match of the season, young budding players have already been working hard at Sheffield United Community Foundation’s Holiday Football Camps.

Taking place every week throughout the summer, our camps are back for the school holidays with more exciting football sessions at five locations across Sheffield – Leisure United Thorncliffe, Westfield, Graves, Handsworth Junior Sporting Club and Wisewood Sports Centre.

Running 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, each camp offers boys and girls aged 5-14 the opportunity to play football in a structured but fun and engaging environment in which they can flourish and improve as a footballer and an individual.

In addition, we are pleased to be offering Girls Only sessions to create a supportive environment in which girls can thrive, helping to develop the next generation of female players.

During competitive games, FA qualified coaches from Sheffield United Community Foundation will always promote fair play, respect, and teamwork to all participants. We aim for our camps to increase football participation levels across Sheffield, whether this is in a structured environment with a team or for fun with friends.
