SUCF deliver Chair Based Exercise session to WPCC staff over lockdown

As part of the partnership with Fans FC, Sheffield United Community Foundation were delighted to offer weekly digital chair-based exercise sessions to Weston Park Cancer Charity staff over lockdown.

As a regular and popular part of our Fans FC online timetable, the session was delivered to staff members by Health Coordinator Josh Blunkett. The session focusses on balance and co-ordination and provides a different way to stay active when working from home.

Health Coordinator, Josh Blunkett, said: “The group were in high spirits.”

“They enjoyed the opportunity to get moving and improve their fitness levels.

“It was nice for them to experience Fans FC first-hand.”

“It was also a chance for us to personally thank them for the fantastic support they give us and the wider community, especially over the difficult year we have all experienced.”
