Sheff United Community join BBC’s Make a Difference Kit Out the Nation Campaign

Sheffield United Community Foundation are delighted to be part of the BBC’s Make a Difference Kit Out the Nation Campaign.

The campaign runs for a month and aims to take in and distribute unwanted, good condition sports kit and give it to children and teenagers that need it at a time when the pandemic has seen levels of exercise among young people plummet.

Rob Jenkinson, Participation & Inclusion Officer, said:

“Once I heard about the BBC’s campaign, I couldn’t wait to sign the Foundation up.

“Exercise is such an important part of keeping a healthy and active lifestyle and getting young people active is something that is really important to us.

“A lack of sports clothing is a barrier for many, and we are looking forward to helping reduce this for people in Sheffield.”

If you would like to donate any unwanted sports clothes, please get in touch with rob.jenkinson@sufc-community.co.uk to arrange to drop them off at the Blades Business Hub, John Street, Sheffield. S2 4QX.
