Review of 2019

Review of 2019
2019 proved to be a very successful year for the Foundation, working with a record number of people (over 21,000) across 17 different projects.
We helped to generate over £5.8 million in social value, creating positive impact in our local communities. In what was our 11th year as the club’s official charity, we continued our journey serving the city of Sheffield through our four key themes of community cohesion, education and training, health and wellbeing and sports participation delivering over 320,000 hours of community engagement.
I wish to offer my sincere thanks to the club for supporting us in the delivery of our ever increasing community work, and would also like to thank you, our supporters, for engaging with our projects, for your words of encouragement and for championing our cause across the city.
We will continue our work in 2020 with some exciting new projects that will see your Foundation increase delivery in the areas of disability sport and mental health in particular.
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year!
