Blades surprise young players at Easter Football Camps
Sheffield United players delighted young football players at Sheffield United Community Foundation’s Easter Football Holiday Camps.
Taking place at five top football venues across Sheffield, the Blades attended each of the sites to surprise young fans, take pictures and sign autographs. Offering a session to remember, the children were thrilled to meet their favorite players and take away valuable football advice from their heroes.
Former footballer Sam Baldock, brother to late player George Baldock, was also on hand to get stuck in and have a kick about with the kids, thanks to the amazing work of The George Baldock Foundation.

With another week of the Easter holidays remaining, there is still time to book a place on week two of camps. Running from Tuesday 7th – Friday 10th April, aspiring footballers aged 5-14 can attend daily sessions across the city:
- Leisure United Westfield – S20 8FA
- Leisure United Thorncliffe – S35 3HY
- Leisure United Graves – S8 8JR
- Handsworth Juniors Sporting Club – S9 4PA
- Wisewood Sports Centre – S6 4BS
Delivered by FA-qualified coaches from the Foundation, keen players take part in a perfect mix of games, skill-building drills and mini-tournaments across the programme.
Book your child’s place by visiting Official Soccer Schools and let them experience the joy of football with Sheffield United!
