NCS help the Sheffield United Club shop

The Foundation’s NCS team have been ‘Doing Good’ by supporting the retail department in the club shop due to a surge of online orders as a result of the current pandemic.

The team volunteered their time to help collect and package all of the online orders to ensure that Sheffield United fans got their gifts. The NCS team were delighted to help out and help put a smile on Blades fan’s faces when they receive their orders in the post.

“It’s great to get out and help where we can.” said NCS Manager, Adam Ledger.

“Especially now more than ever when it is needed.

“It’s even better knowing that the fans are still able to receive their replica shirts and helping to put smiles on our fans faces.”

Adam Wragg, Sheffield United Football Club’s Retail Manager expressed his gratitude to the Community NCS team, he said: “We asked for help from all areas of the club to assist with the increased demand of online order fulfilment.

“There was an excellent response from our Community Foundation NCS Team who happily gave their time to help in this current climate.

“The NCS team came into retail immediately with a huge amount of enthusiasm and excellent work ethic to assist our online team.

“They took to their roles seamlessly and did an absolutely fantastic job.

“It was a pleasure to have the team help and they are an absolute credit to our club.

“True team spirit really shone through in these testing times and this showed what a fantastic club SUFC really is.

“I am truly thankful of the hard work and dedication the team showed and am sure our customers have been left extremely happy with the service they received.”
