Foundation Partners with Aldine House to Deliver Alternative Provision
Sheffield United Community Foundation is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Aldine House, to deliver tailored educational provision for their young people. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in supporting those who deserve opportunities outside of mainstream education to better themselves and their future life prospects.
Through this partnership, Sheffield United Community Foundation will work alongside Aldine House to provide an innovative, student-centered alternative provision that focuses on developing both academic skills and personal growth. The programme is designed to engage young people who have faced challenges in traditional educational settings, offering them a safe, supportive environment where they can achieve their full potential.
Key Features of the Partnership:
- Personalised Learning: The programme will provide individual plans tailored to each student’s needs, enabling them to progress at their own pace and in a way that suits their learning style.
- Holistic Support: In addition to academic education, students will receive mentorship, career advice, and emotional well-being support, ensuring they are equipped for future success.
- Engagement in Sport and Community Activities: True to United’s roots, the programme will incorporate sport, physical activity, and community engagement as key components of personal development.
- Focus on Positive Outcomes: The goal is to provide a structured pathway that leads to meaningful qualifications, improved employability, and increased confidence.
Joe Williamson, COO of Sheffield United Community Foundation said: “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with Aldine House to make a positive difference in the lives of even more young people in Sheffield. This partnership will give young people who need it most access to a supportive, engaging environment where they can build skills for both their education and future career. We believe in the power of community and education to change lives, and we are committed to making a lasting impact.”
The new provision will begin immediately and both organisations are looking forward to working together to create a brighter future for the young people who will benefit from this initiative.
