Football Showcase Event for Year 10 Boys
On Thursday 3rd June our Football & Education Academy will be hosting an open training session for Year 10 boys interested in playing football whilst studying a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Sport after leaving school.
This is an opportunity for students to come along and showcase their footballing ability and to find out more about what it is like to study and train at our Football & Education Academy.
Any players who excel during this session will be invited to attend our weekly Elite Training Sessions.
Our Football & Education Academy gives students the opportunity to:
- Represent Sheffield United in one of our Elite or Development teams
- Be coached by UEFA & FA Qualified Coaches
- Progress to Higher Education
- Pursue a career in the Sports Industry.
- Explore pathways into Grassroots & Semi-Professional Teams
The session will be held at Handsworth FC, Olivers Mount, Sheffield, S9 4PA from 10.30am-12.30pm.
