Face to Face Mental Health Football Restarts

With the easing of government restrictions, we are pleased to have our Mental Health Support sessions back up and running. These sessions are for people with mild/moderate mental health issues or for those that are feeling low. Attending these sessions give our participants the opportunity to play football, engage with others and access to support from mental health organisations such as Strong Minds Together and Sheffield Flourish.
The sessions take place at Goodwin Sports Centre and are free and open to over 18s. The men’s session runs from2-3pm on Tuesday’s and the women’s runs from 7-8pm on Wednesday evenings.
Our Young People’s Mental Health session for 12–16-year-olds will be starting on Thursday 22nd April and will run from SGP Thorncliffe on Thursdays from 4-6pm. The session will be made up of an hour of football followed by an hour of social activities such as games and arts and crafts.
If you would like to attend any of our sessions, or require more information, please contact health@sufc-community.co.uk.
