Earn Children’s University Credits by attending our Football Camps!

Before Christmas Sheffield United Community Foundation successfully developed a new partnership with Sheffield Children’s University (CU). This is an exciting opportunity for the Foundation as we share the CU’s vision that out of school structured learning is important in a young person’s development.

In 2020, Sheffield Children’s University engaged with 46,159 children and young people who earn CU credits for doing out of school hour activities.

As a new partner of Sheffield Children’s University, our holiday camps will now be advertised on their website which will help us to reach a wider audience and provide more children in Sheffield with the opportunity to attend one of our camps and earn CU credits.

By attending one day on our camps, children will get to sign off 5 hours of out of school activity and work towards the opportunity to graduate in a cap and gown if they reach the following hours/CU credits:

Bronze (35 hours/CU credits)

Silver (60 hours/CU Credits)

Gold (100 hours/CU Credits)

The Sheffield Children’s University run the Graduation/Award Ceremonies at either of the Sheffield Universities or even the Ballroom at the City hall so that they can celebrate all the hard work and achievements that the children and young people have achieved over the year.
