Alice & Holly Talk Women’s Football and Premier League Kicks
The Foundation recently caught up with two of its Premier League Kicks participants, Alice and Holly. The twin sisters found the inspiration to start playing football through watching Sheffield United Women and the Lionesses success in the Euros.
Shannon Wells, Youth Support Officer, said of the pair: “I’ve known them since they were little, and as they’ve grown up, they’ve taken a keen interest in football. They attend two of our weekly Premier League Kicks sessions, which gives them the opportunity to play plenty of football, meet new friends and generally have fun. They also attend sessions for our younger girls and they like to impart their knowledge on the next generation which is really nice to see.”
