Blades INspired programme

The Foundation has started our new Blades INspired programme which allows us to go into schools with SEN individuals or classes and motivate them through multi-sports and football.

The programme has been funded by a private donor and is set to run for six weeks.

The aim of the programme is to educate and inspire individuals and we currently have 10 schools starting after Christmas, assisting children with a range of different disabilities. There are still places for schools to sign up with us. If your school would be interested, please contact enquiries@sufc-community.co.uk.

The implementation of this programme creates opportunities for participants to be drafted into our talent pathways. These pathways help form disability teams that compete against other disability teams across the country.

This provides an excellent platform for SEND participants to interact, develop and compete against other individuals who may have similar backgrounds and stories.

The progressive pathways will also be aligned and constructed to fit within the FA disability talent pathways. From this, players have potential to further their game within the England set up.
