Activity Packs delivered to #PLPrimaryStars children

Our Premier League Primary Stars team are used to delivering physical activity, Maths and English sessions in local primary schools but we know many of the children we work with are unable to engage with school lessons online. To help those pupils we have created activity packs including a pedometer, football, reading book, pencil case, connect 4 game and more. We have had to think outside the box for ways in which we can keep children engaged both physically and mentally and hope our packs will help many children and their families during this current lock down until they can return to school.
Ash Ibbotson, School Sports Coordinator for the Foundation said:, “We feel it is vital that we still support our communities during this difficult period and we will distribute 150 primary aged activity packs including challenges to keep children physically and mentally healthy whilst they are away from school.”
Cath Thomas, Headteacher at Porter Croft Primary Academy added, “Thank you so much to the SUFC Community Foundation for our wonderful activity packs. They put a smile on our children’s faces having missed school for such a long time. What a brilliant idea! It’s great to work with the Foundation, once again they have done us proud. Our children’s faces lit up when they received the activity packs. Such a great community spirit by our generous local football team.”
