Impact Report

Sheffield United Community Foundation has released its annual Impact Report for 2018/2019. This report details the achievements of Sheffield United Football Club’s official charity in one of their most impactful years to date.

2019 has proved to be a very successful year for the Foundation, working with a record number of people (over 21,000) across 17 different projects, they helped to generate over £5.8 million in social value, creating positive impact in local communities. In what was the 11th year as the club’s official charity, the Foundation continued their journey serving the city of Sheffield through the 4 key themes of Community Cohesion, Education & Training, Health & Wellbeing and Sports Participation delivering over 320,000 hours of community engagement.

Chris Bailey, Head of Foundation said: “I wish to offer my sincere thanks to the club for supporting us in the delivery of our ever increasing community work, and would also like to thank you, our supporters for engaging with our projects, for your words of encouragement and for championing our cause across the city.”

“We will continue our work in 2020 with some exciting new projects that will see your Foundation increase delivery in the areas of Disability sport and Mental Health support in particular and will continue to work closely with the club and partners to expand our services”
