Employability and Skills Advisor

Sheffield United Community Foundation are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual to coordinate and deliver on our brand new Employability Youth Hub from Bramall Lane. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to supporting young people on their journey into employment, education or training.

Reporting to the Employability Officer, the post holder will be appointed to coordinate and deliver our Employability Youth Hub based at Bramall Lane. This programme will provide an opportunity for unemployed young people in Sheffield to access training and skills to enable them to find routes into employment.

The post holder will therefore have a broad range of experience in building relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds, alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.

High Level Summary:

Term: Full Time (35 Hours)

Salary: £21,000 – £23,000

Start Date: As soon as possible

  • Coordination of Employability Youth Hub.
  • To provide opportunities and support for unemployed young people in Sheffield in order for them to find employment, education, training, or become closer to the labour market.
  • To work effectively with local employers / partners including the Job Centre Plus.
